Our Repipe Process in a typical home (up to 3 bathrooms), we typically complete the installation of a new plumbing system in 1-2 days. In homes with more than 3 bathrooms, the installation may take an additional day or 2. Note that we will leave you with running water at the end of each day.
Below you will find an overview of our 3 stages of repiping a home – Pre Repipe Process, Repipe Process, and our Post Repipe Process
Pre-Pipe Process
On the first day, our crew chief will complete a walkthrough with his crew and will then walk through with you to explain the process. The walkthrough will take place before any work begins to assure everyone is in agreement. The Crew Chief will let you know where and how the plan to run the pipes. Please note that our certified inspectors/estimators do their best to be 100% accurate with their initial explanations to you, but the Crew Chief is the expert and will often find less invasive ways to run the pipes.
Repipe Process
Once the Crew Chief and the team have the plan signed off on, they get right to work, starting with our meticulous focus on cleanliness. The main takeaways for our repipe process are:
Site Prep
Our crews will cover and protect work areas to minimize dust and debris. Our goal is to make it as though we were never there!
Surgical Opening Process
Through the repipe process, we surgically open the walls to minimize dust and debris.
Final Walk Through & Cleanup
To ensure customer satisfaction, we end our repipe installation with a final walk-through and thorough cleanup.
Post Repipe Process
Once all the new pipes have been installed and connected to existing lines, the final touches include:
Wall Patching & Tile Restoration
We will professionally repair and patch the walls as well as provide any necessary tile restoration.
Presentation of Lifetime Warranty
Repipe Pros warrants the repiping of your home to be free of defects in workmanship for as long as you own your home. All material and components are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.
